CV Joint's continued

I have examined a number of (cleaned) CV joints and noticed very few, if any, identifying marks on them. In fact, the only marks I can discer appear to be manufacturing date, e.g., "8 77." Are there other markings? Where are they?

You may be lucky and find a manufacturers stamping on the spider bit or on the cage, but I doubt it.
