Elephant Skin sourcing found!

Besides being an E9 owner I'm in the textile business as well. I can have this resin based "elephant skin" trunk liner developed if there is enough interest. As many of you know, CSi and Carl Nelson have this item on backlist until at least December as it is an item they buy from Belgium. There price is $50 per yard. To cover a whole trunk is about 3 yards. How many of you on this site would be interested if I can develop this product at 20% less cost? I would need at least 100 people committed...

Actually, Jim at Maxmillian is able to order the elephant skin now directly from Germany. Give him a call. I ordered some from him last month. He's really helpful.

Both the fabric and plastic rear wheel well is now available from BMW. It appears they have restarted making some of these NLA items since they started restoring coupes.

It looks as if only pre 74 plastic wheel wells are available. There are still a few set available as of today.

Parts 1 and 2.
I bought them and they are nice. They are now made of a softer plastic which seem like they should be more durable than the originals.

I have to admit that I have not installed them so don't know how they fit.
