Howdy E9ers,

I have my driveline on the bench and separated. I have removed the cir-clip on the center bearring and want to know how to remove the actual bearring?? Is this a shop/dealer thing or??? is it a tap/whack until it slides off??

Help!

Hope you marked the alignment before you separated the halves.

it'll come, eventually.

Clean the shaft, use pen oil.

I'm with Honolulu. You're replacing it, no point in being nice to it. I usually cut the rubber and pull the support off, then you can get to the bearing easier.

BFH beats a special tool any day. 8)
