I have been trying to reply to a few of your emails (offline) as I've had problems posting on this board. I want to thank Dan for fixing my posting problem.

Some of you have inquired on the next flash update. Dominic has installed it at: [www.38csi.com/project]. This is round three of the incremental unveiling of the next project. The prior two releases are also posted. Thanks.

Scott,

Me? Tease with these images? No way.

The most revealing photo - a dead giveaway is the right front suspension. (look closer at the lower strut and control arm.

Also at the rear wheel well image.

More photos next week. More revealing.

Thx,
paul

Front suspension is 2002
engine looks like a turbocharged 4 cyl ( S14? )
Power steering rack

My guess is something like an AC Schnitzer 2002 with a contemporary influence of technology

Mario,
Good eye, you nailed the front suspension photo. You are on the right track, short a few cylinders. Think more factory design influence and you've got it.
Best,
paul

Paul,

I went back for one more look, that's all it took and when I saw the oil filter housing I knew immediatly . . .

You're going to need a guy like Boris or Hans to drive this thing!!!! Someone a little loose !!!!

This will be a cool car, I'm glad that the BMW world has folks like you that step up to the plate to build something like this . . . Good for you!!

what ya got there, hhhmmmmm?!!

could it be a CS vintage racer?? a grp 2 or 5 flyer?
looks like ya have the 'hubs'.

post a note when and where you start 'shakedowns'. Grapevine tells us there are some interesting projects around that should appear for the '07 season.

a CS track day should be sorted for early spring '07.
Buttonwillow?? halfway between NorCal and SoCal.......
