That guy was really moving asphalt beneath the wheels of that GTR--some of those lines he takes were not learned in a single days trip around the ring and his over-taking and passing rates were ferocious!

Hans-Joachim Stuck is a living legend on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Not only is he a genius behind a wheel, he's also rounded the Nordschleife thousands of times ... all the way back from the 1970's when he was a driving the CSL's

Here's another great video of Stuck .. this time introducing (in German) the X5 Le Mans which he drove around the Nordschleife in 7.49 min :!: :!:
On this record run he acheived a top speed of 309 km/h (>190 miles/h) :shock:

The X5 is fitted with the V12, 700hp engine from the Le Mans car.
