ECU price

afternoon all,

just wondering if anyone in the UK has any idea how much i should be paying for a CSL ECU? i've been offered one but have no idea what kind of price they go for.

I'm also looking for a part, the plastic stereo surround panel. mine's missing one corner and i'd like to replace it when i fit my new stereo. does anyone have one for sale?

well, they are not any different than a 3.0CSi or early 3.0Si ECU, so I don't think you'd want pay anything 'extra' for the CSL part.

Devil's advocate question: since the CSI and 3.0si were 2985cc and the CSiL was 3153cc, would the ECU be mapped differently? I'm on a Mac at the moment, so I can't see the parts CD.

some ecu's were optimal and had the red dot on top of them which should be matched to a MPS with a red dot. All rhd csl's i have seen had these.

oh! I didn't think of that. If you don't have the 3.0L engine, then you do want the 'red dot' box.
