Looking for wiper speed control button (knob)

I am looking for a wiper speed control knob for the center console of my 71' E9. Mine is missing the little aluminum insert that makes it look nice. None are available from BMW anymore but I suspect that there are many around on "parts cars."

If none are around I suppose I can fashion an insert from a BMW key fob...
