1988 m6 ac problem

Anybody out there ever abandon the rear ac only in an m6 with a split system? I do know that the rear is the cause of the problem. Thanx

What 's actually wrong with it? Why not just fix it? It's often more work to go around somthing than just fixing it properly. Regards, Bart
