This is really off topic but I when thought craftsmanship the board came to mind.

Need to refurbish my son's Loree Oboe case, it is from the 80's. The Oboe itself is perfect but the case needs a total restore (external vynil, screws, hinges, internal padding and cloth).

Any recommendations? Doesn't have to be California local, or US, I can ship it if it makes sense.

I would check with one of the custom guitar case manufacturers or try doing it yourself with easily available materials.

I assume the case is made of steamed into shape plywood and then covered and padded?

Is it black tolex on the outside like this?

Arde,
Check with the SF Symphony or to see who they recommend for instrument cases; I don't have their number.
