need a little help

A friend called last night and needs some help. Seems as though they have an 83 745i and the ECU took a dump on them. It's Bosch # is 0261200013 and these folks are about to give up on ever having their car running again. I told them I'd send out the cry for help and possibly some of you good folks could help us possibly find a new ECU. Thanks for your help you guys really are a great group of people to be associated with. Leroy

The 013 ecu is for the 1984 model- after 5/83. Plenty of them available-

here is a rebuilt unit for 275.00

Over on the mye28 board under the forced induction forum are a couple of people who know the 745s well and can help out. Search out users TDC and Ecartoys.

Make this into an opportunity! Get a new ECU, a better chip and a new spring:-D
