And I thought I was the only one losing these...
While we're on the subject, the Snap-On version of the 1/4" drive 10mm swivel was a great discovery. Short swivel pivot point such that it works in many tight spots where others "clunk" and resist turning 360 deg as you torque. Worth the...
I have installed 3 such systems in E9, E3 and E21 (different hardware but same functional logic).
You can see some pics of the system components prior to installation on post #76 here: https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/76-3-0-si-introduction.10146/page-4.
Post #1 of this thread shows a couple...
If you are using Cohline, 2240 would be my suggestion. It is rated up 100% methanol/ethanol, maximum temperature of 125 C, short term to 150 C. I've used it on several cars for several years now with no degradation while always using 10% ethanol.

Hi Philippe,
The power (+) for the washer pump motor is routed and delivered to the pump from the right side headlight wiper motor. There is a rotating cam inside the motor which acts upon an electrical contact for the washer motor +. It's the blue wire, I believe, from motor to headlight...

I really enjoy hearing the perspective of home market guys Cristoph and Krzysztof about the car in back in the day. The classic cars for me are a time machine to somehow be immersed in an era I wasn't part of but have an interest in. Thanks guys.
Steve, looking good!
Do we feel a lockplate to be necessary? If you or someone has the CAD file for that Sendcutsend could likely laser cut 20 of those for a few $$ each...
Hi everyone. Fuelfed is a Chicago-based group/club dedicated exclusively to those interested in classic European cars and a great group of people to hang with. Once again next spring we have organized a trip to the Hocking Hills of Ohio in early spring. It is limited to 15 cars due to...
Counterpoint: I've listed 2 cars on BAT, both RNM and both sold to an underbidder for appreciably more than the RNM.
Not every potential buyer is consulting BAT every day. Seven days to me has always seemed brief for what can be considered a 'specialty' car.
