Will this bell housing fit my E9 engine or do I need another one? What do they mean by late style bell housing? Thanks in advance!

Hi Heikki, Is it possible that I saw you on Saterdaymorning in Kotrijk? You were driving direction Zwevegem. If it was you, I have to congratulate you with your car. It looks stunning! Looks even better in real life! For me it was actually the first time I saw an E9 driving in real life. :)...

Installation chrome trim on rocker cover

It just doesn't seems to work with these clips. After a one hour try I gave it up... Thinking about buying some M4 molding bolts like the ones on the end of the trim to get the work done properly.

    Installation Bilstein shock absorbers

Hi everyone, First of all thanks for the prompt replies! I already have the OEM rubbers and bushings from W&N, so this is not the issue. I asked the question because I already helped to assemble an E9 two years ago with a friend of mine. We replaced the rear sub frame then with the Bilstein...

Hi guys, I would like to install the rear sub frame of my E9 tomorrow. I have a question about the rubber(s) that should be used in the shock towers. Can I use the original rubber with bushing (nr. 10 & 11 picture below) or should I use the rubbers delivered with the Bilstein shock absorber...

Thanks Erik! I didn't think myself that I would stand so far by now. As you can see I already removed the holes for the Automatic badge on the trunk. I will try to find a proper 5-speed when restoring the engine.

    BMW 3.0CS E9 from 1975, Belgium

Thanks! Bottom of the front and rear were first painted with stone guard, this gives another texture. Afterwards the whole car was painted in the 060 Polaris silver color, the original BMW color.

    Center tie rod

Hi everyone, I bought a new center tie rod from W&N. It was delivered with some seal/cap over the joint. Is it supposed to be there when assembled or is this just protection during transportation? Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Jens
