For me I had to provide high resolution and clear photos of all my CSL stampings. They checked everything quite closely before issuing a Cert for my CSL.

That misaligned, drooping Motorsport valance stripe looks terrible, they should redo this stripe to be parallel to the top fender Motorsport stripe. A very simple redo that would look so much neater. Aside from that, it's a nice looking CSL.

Hi Sandu, Well I think a CSL is only a CSL if it’s got a CSL lightweight body and panels, and with an actual CSL VIN number body stamp ie front near firewall. I would personally describe this car as a CSL Replica or CSL Tribute. This is what the auction ad should describe it as imho.

I only use beeswax to keep my wood dash and door trims in great condition.

I use SAE 20W 50 oil in my E9 (as per the E9 owners handbook) and also for other classic cars. (15W 40 is also suitable). I only ever use a mineral based oil and never a synthetic oil in a classic car. I wouldn’t use the Mobil 1 synthetic oil your mechanic put in. It’s made for a modern car.
