I am making four LED 3rd brake lights which are nearly invisible when off and very bright when on. They are the best solution I have found which do not detract from the beauty of the car.

They are $35/each includes shipping and instructions.

It mounts to the rear wind screen rubber gasket and the wires tuck under the gasket just like the rear window defogger wires do. So they are well hidden. My coupe is a non-sunroof as well.

Yes I have one in Vern as well, '02 lights are different due to the angle of the rear window. Having a hard time finding the light strips I use for that.

Did the same about a year ago. Also installed a led light behind pillar Roundel. Led lights available at Pep boys and Advance Auto Parts in different colors and strip lengths. If I recall correctly they were about $20. Will try to post pics.
