Just like the title states, I built these in 3 configurations depending on which type of slave cylinder you have. Pictured here is the hose used most commonly, with a slave cylinder exit pointing downward toward the ground. The hoses each have a hanger that can be secured to one of the through bolts of the bell housing. Long enough to reach all the way from the master to slave and a male flare fitting on both ends, this is a better solution than anything available on the market and cheaper, too! Price is $35, and I'm offering free shipping this week only.

Please put me down for a hose. What info do you need? I've not yet done the 5 speed conversation, but will be this spring.

Thanks, Tom

Ben,

this looks like a great hose !!! ... what are the different options so we can look at our car and get the right one.

thanks
scott

The options depend on your master cylinder. 1973 and earlier cars have a master that has an outlet that points downwards towards the ground. The 74 cars have an outlet that points straight forward towards the radiator. Some cars use a master of a different sort that has the outlet pointing towards the inner fender on the driver's side. Snap a photo of your master cylinder and email it to me and I'll get you the right one. Price is the same on all hoses.

Hi
Do you still make these hoses? I am converting a '73 Bavaria auto to a manual using a 265/5 transmission. The master cylinder I will be using is by ATE and is for E12 E21 E23 E24.

Regards
Bill

All this assumes that that the steering wheel is on the left hand side of the car. If it is on the right side then we have a very different game with a rigid pipe from master cylinder, across bulkhead And down to near the slave, then a short piece of flex hose to join it up. I got my flex hose made at Pirtek a UK hydraulics company.

Hi
Looks as though he hasn’t been seen here since 2016... doubt he will see this.
I’m looking as well. Let you know if and what I find.
Tom

I got a rubber hose and a piece of rigid from Mesa for my 4 spd conversion. These are meant to work with the newer version master and slaves as mentioned by shulattwest above- the master outlet points to the driver side inner fender.
One can also find these rigid pieces from BelMetric- https://www.belmetric.com/475mm-bra...6_1168/bl10-cohline-brake-line-10-p-1113.html
Then you can just add a rubber hose- https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_I...?pn=21-52-1-159-714-M33&bt=Y&fs=0&SVSVSI=5477

Maybe you already know all this and just preferred the premade steel braided-- I would.
