Default BMW Restoration Specialist(s) in Dallas, TX?

I seem to recall some postings/comments about a restoration specialist in the Dallas area. They may have been more focused on 2002's. Anyone know/recall?

I think I know about the guys you are talking about, they care called Select Classics. They have had some bad press recently when there was some confusion about a 2002's condition that was sold to one of our members, psychrunner. If you want to get the skinny on that deal, pm him, or check out this bimmerforums link:

Default Dallas

Stay Away! Do not utilize the JK shop, bad news! Feel free to call if you would like to discuss.

Select Classics was that one! I am in Dallas this week and thought I might go by and see these guys. I am making some restore decisions on my coupe and it never hurts to look and see. Thanks for the input.

Went and visited the Select Classics shop. Seemed altogether unprofessional; a couple of 2002's for sale that looked fair, but not finished off as you would expect. Several other '02's in progress - if you want to call it that. Hard to see how these folks are making money. Spoke to the principal. He is not a coupe guy, but certainly would have talked more if I wanted to pursue them working on a my car. Seems more of hobby than a going concern.
