That doesnt seem expensive at all given it is a series 1 batmobile chassis number.

beautiful machine!

is it odd to have a standard spare tyre sitting in the boot in such a race-spec car?
I thought all the spare tyres should be with the pit crew

Certainly great looking and an impressive build. As to value, how does one judge a bat with a S38 in it? Who are the likely buyers and what is likely future collectability?

I kinda thought the same on the $$. Seems like a whole lotta car for the coin especially if its an early Series 1.
Some vintage clubs wont like the S38, some really could care less....

this could be a score....
