    I so wanted to see the show featuring the BMWs when we were driving home from Monterey. We had to skip that stop to make up some lost time. Saw the building from the highway. Peter Gleeson is the featured collector.

    Yes guys, my series one Silver Bat and Orange M1 in pictures above.

    The picture of the three E9s together, the white one on the left was one of my first CSL's, city pack LHD car and in gorgeous condition 2275083. The local BMW dealer had driven me nuts for years to sell him one of mine. A few months ago, I said the only one I would let go was this, because it wasn't completely original, lovely lovely car, but has been updated to drive - it does that job wonderfully and with the original engine. But, my love as many know, is as near original as I can possible get - he offered a very fair price for the car and after many years it left the herd, but stayed local.
