I HAVE DONE IT!!! The fit both front and rear. You can only use the rear E28 motors and you just have to figure out the wiring. It is really not that difficult to do. I have 4 E28 rear motors in my coupe and they all work just great. They also are a lot faster than the coupe motors. It was easier for me to do though because I am using the E28 wiring harness, but they bolt right in. In the front you have to modify the door a little, but nothing a dremel can't do.

I am curious if anybody knows about the E28 window motor upgrade you can do on a 3.0CS??? I have heard about it but I am not quite sure what the story is. I know you use the E28 rear window motors... Tonight I pulled out an extra set of rear window regulator assembles and tried fitting the E28 rear window motor to it. It looks like it can be done, but some hacking is in order to accomplish this. It looks like a great conversion, because you get rid of that stupid transmission that is on the 3.0 and you use a one piece unit. If anyone has done the or knows someone who has I would appreciate it. If this works out... I have enough E28 rear window motors to supply everyone on the Digest!!!
