You are right - they all have the Coupe King brand. I believe that was just @deQuincey expressing surprise that a company would place their logo on the wheels that they manufacture. After all, Coupe King is the first organization to place their company logo on wheels that resemble Alpinas. o_O GLWS - Excellent deal, especially for the folks in Europe!

i like the coupeking alpina wheels and have had really good luck with them ... one word of caution in europe, i am not sure they are TUV certified. i remember reading something on this forum of not being able to use the wheels in Germany. i could be completely wrong about this but a little research might be in order.

i have a set of the OZ 15" alpina types, like pictured below ... those are going on my coupe after its painted

Yes wheels have TUV no papers. That is no problem in 90% of Europe especially correct period wheels with oem wheel and tyre dimensions.
Germany, Austria they are strict for TUV that is true and maybe also scandinavian countires.

Gentlemen,
Sorry to throw a cog in the wheel (pun intended) BUT without a KBA# those rims would be illegal in Germany and most if not all European countries who have similar control systems in place (or rely on the German KBA approval) for manufacturers wanting to sell their car related products in Europe. Literally any and everything have to be tested and approved for sale, are issued a EU approval or a KBA# for vehicle related products for usage in Germany (atlest). (Yes, car parts without a KBA# can be used on race tracks where cars don’t have/ need approval since they don’t participate on state roads/ traffic). With cars rims they are exceptionally intolerant.
Apart from the fact that the products go thru severe stress tests to insure maximum safety with pre determined values.
We can’t import cool rims like Weds or other non European manufactures products if they haven’t applied and gotten KBA approval. Considered completely illegal and no insurance coverage in an accident, even if you aren’t at fault.

One can go to TÜV and have them do their testing and approval for any product that doesn’t have a KBA#. It’s can cost a packet but for someone wanting to bring in a new product, unavoidable and possibly feasible.
These CK rims are a perfect example. For that price, with a KBA# they’d sell very well.......

I don’t think this is a wrench at all. I think it is very valuable information for interested parties, and a clear benefit of the forum.

Legal here in Slovenia, Croatia (EU). Also pretty sure they are legal in UK, Spain, Portugal... let members from there speak.

Again I am not persuading anyone to buy but please dont think we from EU are all so strict like germans :)

That must be the wrong picture in that listing - it has only (4) lug holes.?

Hahah, maybe that’s why so cheap? But on a serious note, the discription clearly states 5 hole rims, I’ve written them to ask......
