Brake master cylinder repair / rebuilt kit for 3.0 CS 1973

Does anyone know if the brake master cylinder repair kit for any years besides 1973 will fit the 1973 3.0 CS?

The RHD kit from BMW fits all years as far as I know although there is sometimes an extra seal, I don't know about LHD,

There are two internal diameters, 22.2mm and 23.8mm so match the correct ID.

hb chris you are right I returned a break master cyl. rebuild kit it was too small it was the 22.2 ml. and ordered the larger 23.8 kit this was for my 1973 bmw 3.0cs

Yep. Same here.

Earlier cars had the smaller ID master, 72-on used the 15/16" (23.8mm) master. Have the rebuild kits for the larger gone NLA?

the people who sell this stuff dont even know they say yes it fits . the order is wrong . send it back they give no measurements hard to find the 23.8 size had to do some homework to find out . thank goodness for all you guys with your gathered wealth of knowledge
