Hi all

We have disassembled, restored and rebuilt all of the interior trim panels.

The front upper door trims have a small rubber trim which runs along the slightly undulating chrome trim which i think sits under front quarter windows. See the two pictures below and see the 4-5mm black rubber trims that runs halfway along only.

Well, we have one that has perished and one that is in good condition. This is a picture of a substitute rubber strip being used but we are not happy with it. I cant find the part on Walloch but suspect someone else has restored these too and may have found a roll of the material or know where to source?

As always, any guidance greatly received.

Thanks again, David

The original part is NLA, I used the same piece as Robert and it works fine, I think it needed a little trimming of the top visible edge from memory.

Cheers. John

Yes, as John said, some modification is/was needed as it’s really meant to go on the window chrome sill on the outside of the vent window. I cut them down a bit to allow it to bend easier at the curve. Hope it works out:)
