Swapped out the old turn signal/wiper stalk with a new one from BVauto.com. The pins were not in the same position as the old one, so I made a map of where they need to be to match the original and then moved them around. All good! See my recent thread about the old core being up for grabs.

I "borrowed" the battery out of The Raven to bench test my e36 M3 seats. I felt terrible, and apologized repeatedly to her as I performed this act of abuse. :(

Went for a very long ride with my three standard poodles, along the river north of Stanley Idaho, listen to some great tunes and live streamed it. Really enjoying the car especially the sound and the performance of the engine. Thanks again for all of your help with my restoration. I really do appreciate it. This video is way too long but posting it anyway
If you skip ahead to the last part it is the best part.

Here’s the prettiest part https://www.facebook.com/1439430262/posts/10213382345699986?s=1439430262&sfns=mo

Took Lorelei out of the garage for an afternoon 30 mile drive (before the weekly rain we're having every Sunday for over 2 months). Put the front on ramps after returning to the garage, then torqued all the bolts associated with the new front suspension bushings I'd installed a couple of months ago. Also settled the new Koni shocks as well, so ride height is now normal.

went for a fast ride, first of the season.
Newly destuffed seats feel great!
Came home and cleaned all the windows
A threesome with another coupe and a 72 tii through the rolling hills of Central Jersey and along the "Wild and Scenic Delaware River." That's the US Congress' official designation for this beautiful mostly unspoiled river. The season has opened.

Steve, glad you made the trip to Asheville/Hot Springs, always a pleasure to see you. I'm sure your coupe performed flawlessly on the Tail. Hope you bought a dragon sticker to commemorate the drive.

I unearthed my car from a sea of boxes and parts. I need to ship my fenders that are hiding under the car so I can start my floors. Stopping by a few body shops this week to locate big boxes.

I’m pretty certain that none of the affected areas on my floor have any factory stampings, so I am hoping to avoid buying new pans.

Something about removing the car cover makes me want to work on the car immediately! :D

I also bought more lust worthy parts that I don’t need.
