Yellow headlights, hot or not?

visually from the exterior (looking at the car) ... to me it depends on the car color. from a driving perspective (in the surrounding cars), i hate it for the same reason as Chris has stated.

It depends on your continent.

Here in north America, people just don't run yellow headlights. They're probably illegal in the US. So as HB Chris wrote, if someone behind you in running them, they're obnoxious. If a police officer catches you with them, you might get a ticket.

In Europe, things may be different.

I have yellow high beams and driving lights, they are easier on the driver's eyes than white ones imo, providing a nicely lit area in front. I always dim them for oncoming traffic. Normal low beams. I think yellow low beams are illegal in most states, yellow high beams and driving lights are legal where I am.

Or make your high-beams roundels out of yellow film. I know Chris isn't a bid fan but I like it...
