I can’t imagine that he does. He may have a bay at someone else’s shop. That is what he had in the past before he went walkabout.
Logan was opening a shop in San Mateo AFAIK. He has done good work for me on the E39 M5, E36, and especially on the E24 which is really a pleasure to drive after some tricky issues were sorted out. Maybe I should front Allan and pretend his car is mine and I will have it running by knowing what talent to tap and how...

Alan - you seem to be spinning around in circles here and not getting anywhere. At this rate you'll never enjoy the car. Perhaps you should just bite the bullet and shell out the money with a well respected mechanic? Budget 10k and maybe it'll end up being 9 and you'll feel good about it but this multi year project doesn't seem to be bringing you any pleasure and at the end of the day, what else is it about? As I've said before and have learned the hard way more than once. Pay once - cry once...
