Hi Erik - yes please - looking for pictures for the full axle rebuild that you did with a vice, etc, and any tips you have on getting those 4 rubber bushings in.

pictures of reassembling the sub axles into the rear A arm?

Can someone share any pictures of reassembling the e9 sub axles into the rear A-arm? I understand a press is needed, but some pics would be really helpful.

    2800CSA Restomod in Oz

Awesome build. Since you went with an e28 rear subframe and differential, how did you attach the differential mount to the coupe body?

    complete interior overhaul

I realize there are a lot of variables, and that each coupe will have some unique needs. However, seeing a couple invoices that are itemized will be very helpful.

    complete interior overhaul

Hi - if someone would be kind enough to email me a complete interior invoice, I'd appreciate it. I know there is a wide range, but seeing an itemized invoice would be useful as I help my dad move his project along.

    My dad's 2800cs

6 years ago I bought a 2800cs coupe for my dad. It was in Santa Cruz, and it had been stripped at one point but painted with crap paint. My dad always wanted a coupe - he looked at buying one when he finished medical school in the 70's - so I felt it would be fun to buy him a body and start a...

    2800cs restomod floor help

Thanks, Markos. I looked at the Mike Pelly pans earlier today, but I couldn't distinguish whether they had the ribbing in relation to where my floor is compromised. I'm going to find out tomorrow.

    2800cs restomod floor help

I will post a bunch of pics after I get this rust pic up. The pans on wallothnesch appear not to have the ribbing on the front replacement pans but the rear pans do. What pan would I purchase?

    4310316 begins

No doubt, a custom harness can cost $1000, but that misses the bigger point (in my humble opinion). To take a year, to get to this point, is not cool, unless the owner communicated, "Alan, I'm going to have no time for your coupe, and I've never wired a Links with an s38 into an e9." I get it --...

    4310316 begins

Having personally wired several different engines into different chassis (302 EFI into 69 Bronco and '66 Mustang; b35 into an e28; ls3 into an e28), it is ridiculous to see this shop's line items. Over 10 years ago, my car was wired by Terry Conners - a 535is with a 745i turbo swap - keeping...
