    Thanks Scott . the rear seats really do "tie the room together " . I am fairly certain the car had provisions seatbelts with the point in the roof. We ordered belts a few weeks ago but they haven't gotten here yet? We managed to get the rest of the interior installed though

    Painter finished up the trunk and hood got those installed Trunk and hood waiting to be installed on the car still need to install the hood support and grills etc, adj the panels install latchs but its coming along

    I wanted to retain the original "dimple key " therefore the ing lock had to be rebuilt, out came the steering column ( needed to be painted anyways ) which made it easier to repair and replace the ing lock components . Got a good start on installing the mil spec wireing harness , installed...

    worked on the trunk area a bit, trying to get the panels to work with the chassis harness and fuel system still need some tweeking butting getting closer to getting that part done. Got the strut tower/ batt box painted and installed . got the relocated fuel neck painted and bolted into place .

    removed the crusty rear suspension and refurbished it. replace the rear subframe bushings ( e28 , not a fun job) . Removed the control arms and completely disassembled them , replaced wheel bearings , parking brake shoes, etc. rebuilt the axles and reinstalled everything .

    Now that we got the car back form the paint and body its time to put the car together .Anthony Neu refurbished the headliner and got it installed . along with some other interior pieces . Very excited to see it coming together .

    The crew at Colorworks finished the work on the chassis ( hood, trunk and doors still need work) and delivered the car to my shop . Now its going to a furry of activity putting this back together
