    "Mad Max's " S54 powered E9 project

Great job Brendan! We built very different cars but your help and advice along the way was much appreciated. I’m ironing out a few teething issues but basically the car drives beautifully and has passed the very strict engineering rules here and is fully roadworthy. Good luck on the track [emoji106]

    2800CSA Restomod in Oz

Haven't posted for a while. Basically finished bar a few details, I had to rework a few things I was unhappy with mainly brakes, suspension and steering geometry but so much better now. This is a heavily modified e9 so I was expecting some issues and I'm sure there are a few more to deal with...

Thanks that’s the last place I would have thought of and probably as far away from the parts drawing lol, thanks again

    Front under bonnet/hood rubber seals

Does anyone have a photo of this seal installed correctly, I can't make out where exactly they fit? Thanks in advance. https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/rubber-seal-under-bonnet.html

Cool, details sent. Yes I also have that whole set up but it would be a real PITA to fit!!

    Brake Booster Replacement

Wow, yes pretty funky! I'm also running some large brakes and calipers, e36M3 with 315mm. I like your idea but late in my build so probably to late for anything that engineered. Just wish someone made a powerful dual circuit remote!

Hay David, can’t see from the dash photo, there’s a windlass trim that goes between A post and edge of the dash did they install? Hard to get in later.

The glass is notoriously difficult to get in, the front especially. Look up Ralph Moore Glass, local and the only guys I would trust to do our cars[emoji106]

    A/C blower switch

    No connection just the hole.

    A/C blower switch

What a line up  mine is the centre switch with 3 pins (I assume the correct part), the switch on the right has the extra pin, is that a replacement option? the female plug has the hole for it.

    A/C blower switch

Yes mine has cracked ceramic. I found an early E21 switch, it has 4 pins (the extra 31 pin) but looks like it would work? Still would prefer a electronic alternative if anyone is aware of anything suitable?

    A/C blower switch

Can you elaborate on the mechanical unit, I 'd prefer not to use an original switch, it's a fire hazard!

    A/C blower switch

Like many others, my a/c blower switch is very dodgy, it operates on full blow and is Chernobyl like on any other setting, really not the best design. I heard a rumour that there may be an alternative electronic replacement/substitute for this old NLA switch, does anyone out there know of anything?
