    jack placement question

Nice ride. Are you sure the tire has "never been on the ground?" I don't see any of the "nubbies" on there.

    jack placement question

After looking at the wear marks on where the old foam used to go, I say I need to flip the lug wrench around and it will be correct. And I disagree that the flat side down on the tire hold. My paint would have been worn over the years and you can see no wear on that side.

    1972 BMW Bavaria - $9800

E3's in Schwarz "Black" are hard to find. Doesn't look like it will take much to get this one up to speed, at least for a driver. Not over priced at all in my opinion. Is it going to need quite a bit of work to get it looking really nice, sure?? But this might be one that would be worth dumping...

WTB - M30 complete but not rebuilt HEAD w/ all the parts needed to rebuild

Master cylinders are pretty easy to find. Extra pedal I don't have and plumbing shouldn't be hard. If you know someone that can rebuild my old master cylinder you can have it. But find out first. it will need to be done properly by someone that knows what they are doing. I was told better to...

WTB - M30 complete but not rebuilt HEAD w/ all the parts needed to rebuild

I appreciate that. Thank you. It looks like Ajay and I came to an agreement on the 85' head he has on his shelf. He's local and like you mentioned, shipping wouldn't be tough but something to think about. If for some reason that falls through I will hit you up! Thanks so much! What a great...

WTB - M30 complete but not rebuilt HEAD w/ all the parts needed to rebuild

I'm interested in the one on your shelf that is complete but NOT rebuilt. Send me a PM with what you want for that please. I can pick up no problem, yes local to both Irvine and Santa Ana. We are talking about the one in the pics correct? The 85? perfect!

WTB - M30 complete but not rebuilt HEAD w/ all the parts needed to rebuild

Ajay, awesome of you to offer that. Hmmmmmmm.......it came off of a 3.0. I should have mentioned that. However, the person I owe it to, may want the rebuilt head for a B34. The bottom end would need to be bored out to match head correct? Same with the one out of the 633 motor? This is good...

    3.07 LSD - Value??

Don - so the 3.64 is considered early correct? And it should bolt in to a 73' Bavaria? Or do I still have that wrong? Wait nevermind, I was thinking the 3.64 was a LSD too. May bad. I just read it wrong.

WTB - M30 complete but not rebuilt HEAD w/ all the parts needed to rebuild

Anyone out there have a post-86 M30 head preferably; if not pre-86 is ok. I do NOT want it to already be rebuilt but do want it complete, not just an empty core. AND I will need all the extra bits to put it back together, the timing chain upper gear, end cover, screws, tensioner spring, etc...

    3.07 LSD - Value??

@sfdon - so the 3.64 that windnsea has will NOT bolt directly into my 73' Bav? I thought they did, especially since it was in a 71' previously. Thanks and sorry if I am not understanding properly because mine is a side loader, standard Bavaria diff. -best of my knowledge. Not interested in the...

Anyone accross N. America or Europe (or anywhere) know of another factory "Golf Yellow" BMW E3?

Veronica - all that sounds great! Sounds like it is in good hands with some good caretakers. Love that you are really into it. I know Ben, he is the Zenith Carb master! He was the only one that could dial in my carburetors. You are lucky to have him. Don't tell him that though....It'll go to his...

Anyone accross N. America or Europe (or anywhere) know of another factory "Golf Yellow" BMW E3?

Same car as was sold on BaT. It was a slick top no A/C Automatic non-numbers match car with Salvage title due to Pic-N-Pull purchase. Nice story and very well documented. Still looking for a factory Golf paint E3 that is NOT that car or my car. Trust me I’ve been scouring internet and BMW car...

Anyone accross N. America or Europe (or anywhere) know of another factory "Golf Yellow" BMW E3?

No, I know there are a lot more 2002 tii's in Golf, regular 2002's in Golf, and CSL's in GOLF factory paint. I am specifically looking for factory Golf E's other than mine of course and the one I pointed to on BaT. But thank you!
