Opinions Wanted - Time to move my E9 on to a new caretaker, how should I do it?

Yeah, I could swear in the past, if you listed it anywhere on the 'net prior to listing it on BaT, then BaT would refuse to let you list it with them. But this was many years ago (2011) when I was selling the 1974 Granatrot. Removing the price makes sense. I will probably try here first...

Yep, I have not started taking photos yet. These are from SFDon's place in Alameda when I dropped it off for the conversion... Good eye!

Opinions Wanted - Time to move my E9 on to a new caretaker, how should I do it?

After 8 years of ownership, it is time for me to part ways with my 1973 BMW 3.0 CS in Agave Green. This car spent a majority of its life in Northern and Southern California and was originally an automatic that was converted to a 5 speed by SFDon back in 2015. Car is currently south of Seattle...

    Water Pump Removal Question

Thanks for the replies on the bolt threading. I think my only question now is how others have secured the pump shaft to allow for unbolting the fan and clutch as I am used to the 32mm special wrench method. I can use the "jam something in place to keep it from moving and apply lots of PB...

    Water Pump Removal Question

Hi, I was reading DeQuincey's write up on installing a new water pump and radiator clearances (https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/refrigeration-system-renewal-and-repair.6020/) and have a question. I am replacing the water pump on my 1973 CS with the same pump that shown below, which is, I...

Wow! I remember when I brought that car home from the Bay Area..... I also remember driving it from Vegas to Seattle in one day... it was an automatic then and still a hoot... Every time I hear Lady Antebellum on the radio it takes me back to driving over Deadmans Pass in the dark.... It's...

    NY: 1973 3.0 CS - $26K

Old Nevada plates had that for sure... But the front and rear appear different... If you look at the rear plate reflection in the bumper, it looks like a white background with blue letters doesn't it?

    NY: 1973 3.0 CS - $26K

Hmm... 1973 in Granarot? Very odd photos and description and I doubt the "rust free" but thanks for the shout out and I will follow up with the seller to see if we can get a paint code and VIN to see what it left the factory with.

    1974 3.0 Dallas NMNA

This one popped up before on Hemmings or Ebay or Old Car Trader. I remember because of the color (jadegrun), the fact that it's a 74, and the lack of a sunroof made me really interested, until I saw the seller... https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1974-bmw-3.0-cs--c-7812.htm :(
