I'm kind of a fan of that (weak box flare) look. I do like the full-on race flares but think they are a bit much for the street. Really like how they carried the character line in the flares; often times when flares are added that detail is missing.

Get a cat. Not humane by any stretch; they’re viscious little hunters, but they will get rid of anything smaller than them. We have a Russian Blue (hypoallergenic) and he clears out any destructive critters on our heavily wooded lot. It is depressing though when he gets a nice bird on occasion.

I tend to agree with you. While I was on the hunt for an e34 I would come across ads that posted videos of the sellers thrashing their cars to demonstrate its abilities to be driven like a hooligan; those cars were a hard pass for me. I rather be given the impression that the car I am buying...

Perhaps you can get the leather you bought dyed (painted), that way you can have the exact color you want. All auto leather is done this way.

I bought a 1995 e34 525i manual last year and just love it. Well-balanced car that is everything BMWs used to be: comfortable, sporty, and good-looking. It gets thumbs-up every time I drive. The person that owns this BAT e34 put some serious $$ into all the upgrades.
