Just posted the video from our race at Thunderhill 2 weeks ago. The first portion of the video is some flying test laps in Luigi which I'm sure you will enjoy. But stay for the close race I had in my 2002 with my friend Dave Anderson in his 510.
I qualified 10 in a field of very strong cars. Only 3 cars in front of me are in the same “class.” A 240 Z GtU car, and a couple of RSRs. Everything else either has a honking V8 or a rotary muffler. I’m pleased.
Fortunately there is a lot of run off room coming out of the chicane at Portland. I was able to pull off track and wait for the roll back to come get me.
We have a hoop to prevent my entering a pole vault competition. Fortunately everything is repairable. I have asked the shop to put in a 10-12 gauge shield up in the tunnel next to me so if this happens again I'll have better protection. Wouldn't want to temp fate twice. ;-) Photo below...
Another disappointing day at the track with my Luigi CSL. During the first practice on Friday the driveshaft blew apart. It happened coming out of the chicane under full load. Believe me, when it went it really got my attention! BANG!! Fortunately I was not injured but the resulting chaos tore...
I raced the SVRA race at Sonoma along with about 40 other B Sedans. There were a bunch of Datsun 5 & dimes, a Volvo, a Ford, a couple of Alfas, and about 5 02's. Great close racing. Enjoy:

Jon had a big off at Turn 1 that brought out the full course caution. That allowed John Goodman to get on my back bumper from 25 seconds back. He was about 3 seconds a lap quicker than me...
