What did you do to your E9 today?

Was back in SoCal last week and was lucky enough to grab lunch and two beers with HB Chris. Got to see the progress on the 'other' Orange County chamonix and was able to purchase and install (with Chris's help) Euro front turn signal glass! The man is an expert with a portable dremel. Timed...

    1973 BMW 3.0 CSI- Copart

So sad! Wish there were more pictures. I think this could be brought back to life. Whether or not it is really a CSi is debatable. Chris?

Not mine - '71 Polaris coupe in France

Spotted this on Facebook. Looks like a decent value. E50,000. Located in Nice, France. Not mine, and no interest.

    Electric BAT clone

So that CSL clone in the shop in the Welsh TV show 'Vintage Voltage' was completed. It only aired on SkyTV in the UK, but it will probably come to the US on Motor Trend TV in the next year. It is Season 2, Episode 8. They did a really nice restoration job on what was a sunroof CSi, but in...

    Cars in NH

That E9 was up for sale about 2-3 years ago I believe for $50k or some ridiculous ask. I recognize his shop from those pictures. The coupe was rusted beyond words!

    WTB hood insulation

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone had a spare hood insulation lying around. Don't want to wait a month to get it from Germany. Its for my '76 Si but coupe foam would work as well. Thanks! John

    Selling our 1976 3.0 Si

Well, I guess I may have missed the mark pricing the car at $14k. I'm sure I could get that at auction, but I was looking to sell it to someone who would appreciate the car within our ranks. Next stop is Facebook E3 group and a couple of potential local buyers. Hard to see why rough but...

    Selling our 1976 3.0 Si

In the continuing saga of clearing out the senior sixes from lessening garage space, I wanted to see if there was any interest in our 1976 3.0 Si (E3) before I braved the fun realm of Bring A Trailer. It worked out ok for the '72 E3 we sold last year, but I don't know if I have the stamina to...

    '73 Bavaria on BaT

Thanks, all! We will miss it, but will get to exercise the coupe more. I had my doubts as well, but with BaT, it is always the last 10 minutes.

1967 Glas V8 Coupe on Hemmings

Anybody have any thoughts or ideas on whether the windshield is the same design/shape as the 1600GT? I absolutely love these cars but the windshield is a deal breaker to me as the distortion at my 11 o'clock is extreme. Clearly the entry price on the car is also probably a deal breaker!!

Pan Gasket leaking in my Bavaria

Thank you both! The car this is for is on BringATrailer and I am on the other side of the country currently. I would have swapped it back when I was in California, but now I just am going to disclose it and be transparent. It isn't a bad leak and hopefully won't be a deal breaker!

    E3 car 1974 Bmw 3.0 - $5,000 on CL

Having spent a great deal of time in the SF area in the mid nineties, this looks like the poster car for the local scene! Well-loved with dings from the street parking. There were so many '02s and Bavs parked around, I thought I had gone to heaven! However, even with the rising prices...

Pan Gasket leaking in my Bavaria

Hi guys! Anybody know of a quick fix for an ATF leak from what appears to be the bottom of the pan? Is there a part number for this gasket by any chance? Thanks in advance!! John
