CSL - changes during production runs <DRAFT>

AFAIK……. Momo Alpina steering wheels for carb CSLs and leather bound 38cm Petri for the 2275’s. If I’m not mistaken, the late carb CSLs and the early 2275’s were both available/ produced at the same time therefore the wheels could possibly be ordered individually thus the overlap……...

    Taiga CSL at Bonhams UK

I think it’s a case of mistaken VIN swap with 2285180. Both cars were photographed at the same show. The Tiaga car is 469 (VIN plate) so the Polaris most likely is 180

    CSL - differences during production

Scott, these blanks are not a CSL unique feature, they are for all E9 models that don’t have 4 electric windows/ switches. Face lift cars are considered 1974/75 cars (starting late 1973)

    blank window switch

Wood steering wheel recommendations for my manual steering E9?

Hi Tim, you‘d definitely want at least a 38cm wheel. If you are running original size tires (195/70/14) you won’t have a problem with a 38cm wheel…..with wider tires, it’s more ‘cumbersome’.

Hi Tim, 3.0 Csi with manual steering? Power steering was standard on all csi’s which is why I’m wondering? kind regards Keshav

In case anyone is interested watching for the entertainment value or wanting to add to the stable...

Gorgeous Pagode! Really nice example. Best of luck with the sale. Lowering springs give it a perfect stance and will take away the typical front end drop whilst braking!
