@Alice Couper Thanks so much for posting the photos and cool video. It was great having you follow us on 101 last Sunday. I was wondering if you were a coupe owner and /or on the e9 forum. Thanks again - John
Agree- Mike's coupe was on another level compared to the recent BaT sales. I think it is great to see E9's finally commanding the values they have long deserved. I will never understand the negative narrative when inferior examples sell for big money.
I went to Malibu C&C twice last year and was the only e9 in attendance. My car got a lot of attention probably because it stood out against the many Porsche's that dominate these events.
Last year I swapped out my 16" staggered Alpina/Coupe King rims mounted on Continental ExtremeContact's for 14" Alpina 14x7 with Michelin XWX 205/70/14 tires. The ride was greatly improved. Not nearly as harsh over rough pavement resulting in a much more compliant road feel. Another bonus is...
Might be a solid car and interior looks nice, but I can't get past the color combo. Original Polaris? No undercarriage photos and top of fenders look suspicious.
Tires on the 16” Coupeking Alpina’s were old and tired so decided to make the move to authentic 14” Alpina’s with Michelin XWX. Glad I made the swap so thought I would share some photos.
Here is photo that shows a better example of the color. The two previous photos that I posted were taken at an event and not by me. I think the photos may have been edited/filtered.
