When was the 3.0 CS introduced to the USA

In my crystal ball, I look back and I can see the salesman saying to Ron "yeah, shame but the 3.0 is not out until next year for model year 73" ......Just a guess  2800 is still a great car - because what do we love most......how stunningly beautiful it is

1971 Euro CSi on BaT--yes another one!

Well I guess I have learned something then, as I explained it's not an unusual occurrence and unfortunately one of the weaknesses I see on BAT that allows flagging of comments, normally done as described. My apologies for my wrong assumption in this case

1971 Euro CSi on BaT--yes another one!

I am afraid it's very rarely anything to do with BAT, it's often the sellers friends all coming in, thinking they are being helpful and flagging the comments so they are removed. Not unusual and very see through unfortunately

1971 Euro CSi on BaT--yes another one!

Well, I suppose somebody has to say it. Wolf is a good man and a friend to many on this forum, he knows E9s and sells many, including some important ones over the years You very clearly state "Your job is to import cars" yet you call yourself "private" You are a dealer dealing in cars, yet...

    Schnitzer CSL for sale- NMNA

Hi Scott :) That is very true, but I have my Schnitzer I am very happy with :) Thankfully for a change this is a real car, actually was next to us at Le Mans Classic in 2014 - much longer story, owners son was driving and lets just say, understanding the rev limits is not his greatest skill...

    Numero Uno

Some great pictures and memories there mate :-) Driving on the lawn in the Procar, what an experience. Still looking for that crazy picture of Mike Pelly driving the golf cart with Jennifer riding fireman style hold the front clip of the Procar on the roof. So many people were taking...

    Numero Uno

It was a fun day, but I have to say Laguna Seca and Pebble in 2016, shown in your pictures above Andrew, will always be the ultimate for me.

    when you show too much...

I have always had a soft spot for the Mach 1. Short story - I was a 12 year old in 1971 working on stall in East Street market in South London UK and I heard this noise, a noise I had never heard, coming slowly through the market. If you attempted to drive through the market on market day...

    E3 Bertone

I was at the auction in 2011 where the Spicup sold - actually tried to buy it, but was outbid by a dealer I know. No complaints though, I bought Lorenzo's Carb CSL and the Helm Glockler 507 boat :-)

Golf Yellow CSi on BAT - NMNA

Josh - welcome, as others have mentioned you will find this a very helpful group on E9s, none of us are perfect, certainly not me, but in general most are polite on things outside this forum, like BAT, as you saw on your car.. A little more honest on this page, but isn't that is what it is...

What non-e9 color would look the best on an e9?

I feel Alpina Blue or Green could work- but I agree with @rsporsche so many great colors to pick from already

Official thread of parts for sale w/ridiculous prices?

Maybe that guy with the front spoiler will give it to the guy with the actual car. After all he has had his years of fun with it :-) Not my car BTW, I believe Kevin Ladd's car. I know, I am kidding myself :D

Golf Yellow CSi on BAT - NMNA

Ok, many comments here First, as somebody who has a golf CSL and loves it, this car does not look Golf to my old imperfect eyes. Just look at the yellow lines on the road, when Golf is next to yellow, it really does show its green and when its next to green it really does show yellow. Odd...

Golf Yellow CSi on BAT - NMNA

Me too - imagine trying to buy a car and all the other personal in the dealership, or in a private sale, if all the neighbors came along and told you (without prompting) what a great guy/girl the seller is or how wonderful the car is ........I know I would run away, as fast as my little legs...

    1973 3.0CSL on Sotheby's auction soon.

Hi Scott You are correct my friend, the car that famously wore the number 25 when winning at Sebring in 1975 with Redman, Stuck, Posey and Moffat, sits amongst its siblings in my warehouse. It currently has the Group 5 bodywork BMW put on it by BMW Motorsport in March 1976 when it was made...

CrackGP was a scammer. Now deleted.

Dan, You can only do your best and sorry to the member who lost here. Just a wild suggestion. Would it make sense to have some kinda participation involved before you can sell - time involved, posts, likes etc ? I know that will preclude the odd genuine part, but eh, they still have Ebay...

Thank you everybody for your kindness As an update if anybody is or will be dealing with similar issue going forward Both @JMinPDX and @tferrer suggestion of Pirate shipping was a good shout on the one to the UK, they can do that one for $373......sadly they said the other one to NJ is too big...

Not framed as such, basically on normal wooden stretchers for canvas and then a a basic 1/2 inch (on side view) x 2inch wood edging Not very valuable as paintings go, value about 5k each Thanks everybody above for suggestions and ideas, surprised how expensive this is when you think as...
