You can go to any RMV, not just in the Boston area. We have had a similar experience and ended up in the Yarmouth RMV. Then State inspection within 7 days at a gas station locally.

As Chris said, using a putty knife, like the small plastic ones to smooth mud on wall, plus for me rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to soak the old flock. Old flock easily came off.

I have a E24 M6 and e28 M5 and then came the E9 CS, my experience is that the E9 is a much higher learning curve than the M6/M5. Thus, we need each others help more than in the other two, for me.

Yes that small piece pictured above by Andrew can be trim to remove a bit of it‘s thickness, after doing so both doors closed with new weather strippings.

The white trim will come out very nice with Palsti Dip in a spray can - white. Very light coats maintains the texture.
