    Hello, new member from Texas

its not so bad, just needs a lot of work to make them right. Make sure no one is in the way of the exhaust when you fire it up. I got a S2 Bentley woke up after 12 years in a field, it fired nut shells out the exhaust like bullets!

    Hello, new member from Texas

At that money, I could have flown to Texas and shipped it back AND it would have still been cheaper than the wrecks for sale over here... Good save.

    Hello, new member from Texas

Now you have it.... Never sell it. Being complete is half the battle, well, it is here in blighty. All the shiney bits get robbed and sold off as medalions or something. Get 2 sheets of 8x4 steel and a mig and you'll be able to rebuild it!

    Hi from UK!

Hi dude, it needs more power. Good the body is already taken care of, did they give you pics of the processes that took place? I'm wondering if it was a green shell I kept seeing floating about some time ago, when was it built the second time around? Best of luck with it.8-)

New to the forum. 1974 rhd Sienna Brown 3.0CS

Love the brown, me mate had a 5 series that colour. Guess it'll be going though? I'm in Cambridge, give me a knock if you're up this end of the M11 sometime and we can talk about rust and stuff.

    Resurrecting 2265631....

Yellow one is now rot free. Although there was not as much crusty bits as the white one, people had been everywhere before... And not made it much better, in fact worse in some cases. Still, there's a little way to go yet on both cars to get them ready for paint but the finish line is much...

Just bought 71 3.0 CS - what lurks beneath

These are few and far between in rhd and without a sunroof. Budget around 20k just for the metal. Replace the entire boot floor, repair the rear panel, gutter, inner wells/ arches, replace both rear arches and lower valance, repair rear screen corners and strengthener under, check shock towers...

    Resurrecting 2265631....

White one is now waiting for a nsf wing, some tidying and then paint. In the meantime... 2265938 is being bought up to speed which has just had the boot/trunk floor replaced, and rear panels made good. A lot of filler on this car, some 15mm thick in places... not cool.... More info...

Discs and drums? (excuse my English)

Cheers for the information. The chassis number says its a 3.0. After some digging about it appears that someones been fiddling with the rear running gear. Comparing both diffs shows that they are both 12.39 so we are still ok. The rear arms seem to have been lightly refurbed at some stage a long...

CSL in accident. What to do question

Repair it unless it's creased it somewhere else further up. That looks quite painful. My eyes are firmly on the rear view mirror when I stop in traffic, plan of emergency escape is already calculated, the wheels can suffer. I saw a guys 635 get stuffed up the back in traffic by a bit of Japanese...

Cheers! Yeah, sure and here is the link, but bare in mind you'll need to sign up to see the pictures and an hour and a half to read it. It's a good site anyway and one I have spent much time on. Project E9... Resurrecting the dead... Apologies mods if you don't allow links to other forums...

    On da fence

Old unknown cars are full of grim surprises, well, old ones that have been sat in the UK for decades are anyway. It's an old car and unless it's been pulled apart and every square inch of it inspected, repaired and/ or treated, it's going to continue to deteriorate. Set a monthly budget and...

    Resurrecting 2265631....

Still going...... On the o/s/f wing. Here's a boot/ trunk pic but I have about 90,000 pictures of everything. And there's no filler in that!!! I've already got a massive build thread running on another forum. Everything, and I mean everything on this car was rotten. Worst bit to repair...

    Resurrecting 2265631....

Well, this is a couple of shades worse than my 635 which I got MOT'D within 4 months and that had no corners left on it, and you can buy repair panels for this... in this country too, which makes life a little easier. I am a little shocked at the state of it, but enjoy motors enough to see past...
