    The 4350034 VIN does not show up in the Forum's CS Registry. I suspect the #435 VIN car is in E9 heaven given it's engine was transplanted.

    Steering 'binding' during turns (sometimes)

    Hi Frankie, the steering box can be adjusted via the nut on top and there is discussion on this topic; if it's leaking, I would be inc;ined to get it rebuilt as this is not something you want going awry at speed ( same as brakes )

    I believe that's the air filter for the air slider/AAV ( this draws in air on startup and remains open unti running temperature is reached ). I doubt that's the issue and would be inclined to adjust the "large screw" per Andrew's auggestion above .

    Myself and friend boh have d-jet and generally they run fine .However ,at running temperature,if you 'stab' the accelerator quickly at idle ( 950 rpm) , the tacho rises and then usually drops well below 950 rpm which often causes the engine to stall ...it can then require a few seconds of...
