Will e34 S38 M5 flywheel work for manual trans swap?

Thanks, Don- I know it fits. Not a concern there. Just after insight from those more knowledgeable than myself on this flywheel / config with the triples. This was included in a Parts Lot and, occasionally, I’ve been guilty of gathering spares I may never use. - Be well, amigo!

Will e34 S38 M5 flywheel work for manual trans swap?

Recently picked up an excellent condition flywheel off a ‘90s era M5 for a song, thinking it would work for my ‘74 e9 auto/manual upgrade. I’m planning on running triple webers, and have both the original m30 engine and an m90 from early euro 6’er that is already manual flywheel. Should/can I...

1972 CSI "Knives Out" movie car For Sale

PP. Ltd lost their long-time Marketing Guru, (and the only staff member they ever had who’s a classic BMW aficionado), a couple years ago. Sadly, the new guy is an ‘80s Japanese car-guy and not nearly as knowledgeable in vintage and classic cars compared to the expert that was managing their...

    STEERING COLUM TOP COVER REMOVAL

I've removed this piece a few times from a 2000cs (they had the cool little chrome angle-light for the key) and a couple 2002's and it wasn't too difficult,,, It's been a few decades but I recall using a dremel with thin cut-off wheel and cutting a slot into the bolt heads that hold the top...

    Vintage Maserati knowledge/advice?

There’s a company in Seattle area called M.I.E, Maserati Information Exchange, that was headed by Frank Mandorolino (?) back in the day. I worked a summer job there in high school in the 80’s and his operation was a global affair. Franks warehouse included Boras, Ghiiblis and Meraks,,, Oh My...

    Bat auctions....

Anyone been to a B~J@ck or Me<@m auction? Full shenanigans are in play there with all their dealer-network friends helping raise bids on each other’s cars for top dollar to some unknowing ‘fresh meat’ rube. BJ’s go-to move for squeezing more money from a whale is known as ‘The Chandelier Bid’

BMW Coupe recently added to my garage!

Absolutely loving my new daily driver. 2010 128i M-Sport in LeMans Blue Metallic. Last of the naturally-aspirated in-line 6-cylinder engines and a very capable and spirited little Driver’s Car. Reminds me a lot of my old 2002tii

    '74 Bavaria near Seattle

I know Park Place Ltd very well and have examined this car in person. (I’ve had several Bavs in the past, so kinda know em a bit) my honest opinion is ‘Keep Looking’ There are far better examples out there and this is near top of the market price for an e3. Lots of dodginess and rattle can work...
