Hi Keshav, it's from an E3 2500 sedan from early 70's. Maybe the ZF plate is a clue, there's 271 stamped at the bottom, could be Feb 1971???

Have had a look at the steering box. It's smooth and tight in the straight ahead position. Obviously would need new oil. I can spray paint it black and make it look refurbished - or not... :)

Indeed, this is a CSL diff, with the crown wheel having 10 bolts of 12mm diam Not an ideal photo unfortunately, but the best I've got:

Hi Cal I have ordered set of the headers from MSDU, but not the rest of the system, for the exact same reason - it might need a bit of tweaking, and I'm thinking about different pipe sizes and muffler sizes. I'll wait until I get the headers on then have a look at the rest. I might even make...
