    I think it´s possible, for example M30B25(71,6mm) have the same piston speed (19,5m/s) at 8170rpm as s38B38 has at 6500rpm.

    I´ve got most of the parts already, just need to do some check on the crank. M90 block, m30B25 crank, s38 rods and ITB, special pistons, alu flywheel, stand alone management and so on, just need to find a god cam. And .... also time to make it happen, motor going into an E12 that need some...

    Thanks for the answers. I´m looking into building an high rev M30 just to see what it takes. :) Short stroke, big bore and as light parts as possible, aiming 8k rpm maybe more if possible.

    I don´t think there is a market for new types of grinding on M30 cams. There just us old guys that work with theses old engines now. :)

    Thank you, but I know there are several cams to buy. I was thinking of get a special grind of my own. A while ago I had email contact with him about this but he seams to have ended his project.
