Hi Mike. The later style e24 and e28 exhaust manifold gaskets provide shrouding for the wires. That is what I used for my Stahl install.

The longer pieces took a little longer to digitize than I estimated, These are the long, right hand side templates in *png format. The vertical marks are at 30" for scaling. I'll do the dash sill piece tomorrow.

Attached are the front and back Left Hand Side templates, scanned in pdf format. The holes on each part line up squarely when the curvature is right, given the thickness of the plywood. The shorter piece is front. More to come.

Patterns found. For the curved pieces, I made front and back templates to account for the curvature. The difference between them guides the curvature. The templates are sheet metal, I can make paper patterns for anyone who wants them. Hi Luis! How's the Lambo?

The rod pulls right out of the nylon bushing. However, the bushings are tight and the rod ends have a bend in them that makes it a little counter intuitive on which way to pull. You can see the bend in this photo. The nylon bushings are easily damaged and were not available when I did my car.

I'll keep it clean. What does it smell like? My e9 heater doesn't smell, but the heater core in my Toyota is seeping and smells like maple syrup as the heat evaporates the coolant.

DQ, thank you for those data points! I am sure that my BAV is leaking down much faster than that. Installation of the check valve should certainly help.
