    Wiper stalk question

I'm going through the parts hoard trying to identify 02 and E9 parts I can list for sale. I've got a right hand wiper stalk marked with 1 355 284 and 8157 02. You push in to start wipers and pull towards you to Wash. It has one white, 9 pin connector (though no center pin). I can't seem to...

    New Member-Boston

Great score! And great to see another nachtblau coupe in the area though I've since moved South to Florida. There is a good crew in the Northeast area and a very active CCA club. You'll want to research the various shows at the Larz Anderson Museum. VSR is an hour or so north if you need...

What did you do to your E9 today?

My understanding is that I don't need one when running the 123 distributor?

What did you do to your E9 today?

Changed out the stock coil for a red bosch (Brazil). I had already bypassed the ballast. Seems to have smoothed out a slight hesitation at higher (> 5500) RPMs. Pulls nicely to red line now, not that I do that a lot. The engine just feels and seems like its running better. Very pleased.

What did you do to your E9 today?

Wow, Stan, you have quite the coupe now, i.e. motor, suspension, etc. It certainly has changed a bunch since I last saw it! I've heard great things about the coilovers.

    Korman Triple Carb Conversion

I had the exact same conversation with Carl 20+ years ago when I got my coupe which came with triples. I ended up pulling them and going with dual 38s which have been terrific though those triples sure did sound and look good. The duals fit under the stock air filter housing as well. The icing...

Best way to mount your phone?

I've been using an old plastic thingy that Dunkin Donuts used for about a month to seal the sip hole on their drinks. Wedged it in with the ciggy adaptor charger to hold it in place and keep the charge going. Leaned the phone up against the AC knobs. I broke the plastic thingy last weekend so...
