Hi Is there anyone out there who has a serviceable pair of carburetor inlet manifolds to suit the E9. Sydney Australia would be preferred but anyone prepaired to freight to Aus. I assume the E3 and maybe the E12 6 cyl are suitable. (please don,t take the latter as known). K D

For what it is worth my 1971 Aust Delivered 2800CS had a Becker. I haven't seen it for a while, if I still have it.

I would be happy to offer, free of charge, a 3.3 litre from a 733 if you would like to go down that path. It is in pieces. Easy install, just needs E9 suitable sump & oil pump pick-up. I,m in Silverwater if interested. KD

Sorry, it's from a 1977 733 which is 86 mm stroke. Im sure if i am wrong someone will correct me. I think the 3.3L was 88 mm and the e24 635 was 84 mm. K D

Australian csi Don't know about CSIs but my 2800CS was delivered from Germany straight to Melbourne in 1971. Rust does exist here and CSs suffer worse than other cars (except maybe Fiats). However I owned a 72 CSA which lived in England for about 10 of it's first years and it had rust in places...

E3 Sway Bars The front bar is a streight swap. If you can find one from the 3.3L Sedan it is thicker diametre. The front sub frame is identicle. K D
