    Carby Manifolds

Hi Mark99 Careful with the 3.0 block. I bored one to fit the 3.5litre pistons. It ran perfectly when I started it set up on the workshop floor before putting it in the car(with radiator & coolant). Next dayI took all the plugs out to do a compression test and watch a jet of water shoot out of...

    Carby Manifolds

Thanks Markos and autowerks. This isn,t urgent (I know I,ll get a bagging) but I am over the triple Webers and would like under the bonnet to look a bit more original. I am even replacing the 3.5 engine with the original numbered engine. A 2800 bored & stroked to 3.3. I hope to get 2 new down...

    Carby Manifolds

Hi Is there anyone out there who has a serviceable pair of carburetor inlet manifolds to suit the E9. Sydney Australia would be preferred but anyone prepaired to freight to Aus. I assume the E3 and maybe the E12 6 cyl are suitable. (please don,t take the latter as known). K D

    Tow weight for a CS

I realise this will be abhorrent to most of you but I have noted that some Coupes have Tow Bars. My question is what would be the maximum weight a Coupe could tow without causing too much stress (trailer & load combined)? K D

    Australian CSL

Australian csi Don't know about CSIs but my 2800CS was delivered from Germany straight to Melbourne in 1971. Rust does exist here and CSs suffer worse than other cars (except maybe Fiats). However I owned a 72 CSA which lived in England for about 10 of it's first years and it had rust in places...

CS front bumper with spoiler...how to make it fit right???

Front Bumper with Spoiler. If your interested, it is only the lowwer edge of the bumper on each end that is the problem. If you check it out you should find the outer end of the lower edge protrudes out further. I ground this area off to suit the spoiler. I did have my bumpers re-chromed but if...

Hi, If it is worth anything, I think you can fit just about any distributor from E9, E3 and upward to prior to L-Jetronic. If you have points in your dissy & would like to get rid of the points, use the injected dissy with a suitable Bosch Ignition Module & Ignition Coil. Sorry I don't have...
