I purchased my 3.0 CS in January 2016 from a dear friend of mine's wife. Steve Bingham had done an incredible job with the restoration of his E9, but was never satisfied with the carburetor set up. The Webers were never right and thus ensued his quest for fuel injection. The original plan was to install a Moronic 1.3 with L jet intake. After long consideration I opted out for a complete L Jet conversion. I found a donor car 1979 733I drivable with all parts. Passport BMW has been extremely helpful procuring hard to find parts. The car pulls hard above 2500 and runs out great.
