I think the market still values a 2800 much lower unfortunately...

Very true on the traditional auction block where the primary source of the truth is hagerty. BaT is a bit more forgiving but the struggle is real. :)

I remember that car.

Advertised on ebay and CL in California.

Think he wanted $60k and additional $ to convert to a stick shift if desired

I thought a car like that would be a bad place for mecum until I saw this sell. And I was thinking to offer my coupe for sale there as its only an hour away but was too cheap to pay the $500 to put it in, haha. Or it's money laundering, who knows.

The video included showed the car as is, with the 5-speed and the 'working new' AC. Looks like they put an apple CarPlay in there as well. If it went for $66k and it was solid, not a bad car.
