Great site, but viewing can be quite a chore. Uploaded all the pages of the manual right here. Best of all, it is in English. Enjoy!

For bigger and easier text reading, go back to the original 74 CS brochure, tried to upload a bigger image of the last page, but guess I ran out of picture uploading bandwidth. Rather odd the transfer of digital pics became not as clear and vivid as the original scanned pages. Would think there would be no difference in image quality.

Sadly, this Japanese sales literature site for classic European cars is ‘lost’. The original web address no longer exists.

I must disagree about the blue velour. For me, it has the redolence of a tart's boudoir but how on earth do I know that?
Super publication, though. I don't recall seeing one before. John.

I was lucky enough to find an original copy of the brochure - it has a nice weight to it. I will have to confirm any differences from the above. What I have is believed to be the 1973 model year catalog.

It would have been purchased by any one of the previous owners including the original. Certainly an acceptable accessory to have in the car as noted in brochures. Mine also came with the black leather knob when I bought the car, i found an NOS wood one because I prefer the wood and my ocd cant handle a rotating roundel

I like most BMW velour EXCEPT the blue. Which came in my Italian delivery euro coupe. Swapped for tan leather, now dyed black that came with a 73 csi parts car. It had grey velour but the mice had gotten to it. Sad.

I have two of these brochures both are in very good to excellent condition. Maybe a bit of shelf wear on the outer cover is all. I only need one.

IF you want/need one, send me a PM with it's value to you. I'll let you know the results of this 'auction'. IF you want pix, include your direct email in the PM.

I have a copy of the German-language version of this. I also managed to track down a 1974 "Farben and Polster" (Colors and Fabric) brochure.

Not sure if any of the folks on this thread are interested in one of these brochures, but I do have one if he / she is interested. Send a message or reply if interested. Not sure of the value, but currently trying to establish.

Thanks,

Scott
