Wish I could wave a magic wand to make my 74 look like that!!! This Amazon green looks a lot like tiaga and I love it.
Beautiful car, but that trunk rust is SCARY! Uggh!
Lots of hidden rust I fear w/this one.
I think some of what we see in trunk is foam and adhesive under the plastic liners, surface rust is pretty common here, especially between the wheel wells behind the rear bulkhead.
Agree completely. The adhesive is pretty orange/rust color (maybe from age). I had a '72 csi and I removed the broken elephant skin from the fender wells. That area looked very similar to this car but it was solid as could be.
The ad is full of mistakes.

I would bet on looks for sure. Someone had to love that color combo.
It also has a lot to do with good photography. Hard to tell from the pics but that could even include not showing the instrument cluster wood might not match the rest of the interior wood.
I got the warning that it was closing in 30 minutes and took a look...it was at $60k, and just now looked at the final result, wow!
Not even close. The Granatrot b35 went for $125K and a member's coupe for much more in a private sale.

It still has it's original evaporator, it was converted to R-134 but everything is the same. The 74 compressor was an improvement on the York but still not modern by today's standards.
