Had everything worked as it should, until this morning, the calendar would be done sooner & much better.
 
Evidently I didn't understand your comment "I am looking for other publishing options." I assumed you meant for next year. I ordered the new one from Shutterfly as well. We'll be able to compare the quality. The cost is certainly significantly higher (roughly 3x). Unfortunately, I had bought (2) of the first ones, plus one of the new ones now. What day is it? I can tell you. :D

EDIT: I did send Lulu a message to see if I can cancel that order. If so, great. If not, no worries. I love the calendars!

I too am confused by the Shutterfly - Lulu thing. I see that the Lulu calendars are 11 w X 8.5 h, which was the page size of the 2022 calendars. I can't find a publisher's name on my 2022 calendar, nor does Shutterfly say how big their calendars are. I'm guessing that size isn't the difference between the two publishers. Is it print quality?
 
I have used Lulu since the first calendar in 2015. The interface was excellent & easy to use & modify. This year. The interface has been made overly simple with no editing capability whatsoever.

I added the owner’s names as in past years but Lulu’s interface refused to load the the files I created so there are no names or anything.

Shutterfly has the title & name files on the photos.


I’ll continue to see if I am able to make Lulu work with the correct edited files but after working for over 6 hours & even resizing the files, I was overly frustrated with the lack of editing capabilities.

That’s the saga of the 2023 calendar.
 
Shockingly, I was able to cancel my order from Lulu. I reached them within a small window of time before the order went to the printer.

Andrew, will I regret not getting the Lulu version? I am assuming the Shutterfly calendar is going to be the bomb, with the names and credits for the images. ;)
 
My 2023 calendar from Shutterfly arrived today. WOW, it looks great. I can confirm that the size of this new calendar is 12"x12" just like the Shutterfly website reads. This is larger than the previous years' calendars which were 11x8.5, or US "letter" size. I think the larger size is nicer. It looks like a "real" calendar - like something you'd buy at Barnes and Noble. :D The 11x8.5 tends to have a DIY appearance since that is what most people have as printers at home (even though they were made by a professional printer). Also, the Shutterfly paper stock is thick with a nice gloss. Each page is cardstock.

Assuming people who didn't hear back from you after sending a picture didn't make the 12 month cut?
